Pay once you've seen it.
One price to make it yours and one to keep it running, and nothing before you've opened the finished site on your own phone.
What it costs
I build your site first. Pay nothing until you want it live.
-
To make it yours
$499 once
Paid when you decide to go ahead — not before.
- Any changes you want before it goes live
- Your own domain, registered and paid for the first year
- Live on your own address within a week
- Your Google Business Profile pointed at it
-
Then to keep it running
$49/month
Starts when the site goes live. Cancel any time.
- Hosting, certificates and domain renewal
- Any changes you want — hours, prices, photos, text
- Replies within two business days
- Monitoring, so I know before you do if it's ever down
-
Two months free
Then to keep it running
$499/year
Paid once a year, and it works out two months cheaper.
- Hosting, certificates and domain renewal
- Any changes you want — hours, prices, photos, text
- Replies within two business days
- Monitoring, so I know before you do if it's ever down
- A full year up front is $499 for the year instead of $588 — two months free.
- Full refund in the first 30 days, on either plan.
- Both renew until you stop them: monthly ends on 30 days' notice, and a year paid up front runs to the end of that year.
- The domain stays in your name, whatever happens.
- How this compares with Wix, a freelancer or an agency

Open on your own address
It goes live on your domain, registered in your name. If you ever leave, I transfer it and hand over the files.
How paying works
-
You only pay if you keep it
Nothing is owed until you've opened the site on your own phone and told me you want it.
-
The invoice comes from Stripe
Always from billing@cornershopsites.com, and always a Stripe link you can look at before you type a card number.
-
I'll never ask you to pay another way
Not over the phone, not by text, not with a gift card, not through Zelle or Venmo. If anyone asks you for that in my name, it isn't me.
-
The domain is registered to you
In your name, not mine. If you ever leave, I transfer it across and hand over the files.

What does the $499 cover?
Making the site yours and putting it live: any changes you want before it goes live, your own domain registered and paid for the first year, the site live on your own address, and your Google listing pointed at it.
Can it take bookings or payments?
If you already use a booking, ordering or payment tool (Square, Calendly, Jobber, DoorDash, a Venmo business link), I'll put a button for it on the site — that's included. Embedding a booking widget, or a sign-up form for your specials, is a small one-time add-on. A full booking or ordering system of its own is a separate job, and I'll tell you so before you pay anything.
Why not just use Wix or Squarespace?
You can, and plenty do. The difference is who does the work and how fast the result is. A builder gives you a blank template and a monthly bill; I give you a finished site, with nothing underneath it to slow it down, and the price on this page includes changes.
Who owns the domain?
You do. It's registered in your name, and if you ever leave I transfer it and hand over the files.
What if I pay for a year and want to stop halfway through?
It renews on its own, so tell me and I'll stop it. The year still runs to the end — after the first 30 days a year paid up front isn't refunded, but nothing is switched off either: the site stays live for every month you paid for, and I'll hand over the domain and the files whenever you ask. The two free months are what you get for purchasing the full year upfront; if you'd rather keep the option to stop, pay monthly.
